Day 21

Phew.. Another good day. We started the day with a huge climb.. 1330m at the top. The ascent was a fun time.. Nice trail and beautiful scenery until we were fogged out. Half way up we ran into Kathleen and Deva , a friend of hers that she met on the trail previously. We were stoked to see them and that energized us the rest of the way. We decided to carry on after 12km up to ocebreiro and ended after another 12 beautiful kilometers in a sweet albergue in fonfria. The mountains were stunning.

Now we were getting a bit crazy in the wee hours this morning before coffee.. We decided to present to you the camino in song lyrics... Enjoy a good laugh.

M: I'm gonna scream and shout and let it all out.. (In santiago)
A: you're always on my mind (our people on VI)
M: it's times like these(bad albergues) and times like those(good albergues) what will be will be.. And so it goes..
A: I will always love you(moms gettin sentimental... )
A: the hills are alive with the sound of music.. (Birds chirping, river running, and click clacking of walking poles)

And of course! I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more.. NOT! 500 is enough

Today was great fun.. Kathleen and I broke into dance party during our last few kms, lots of laughs, saw lots of friends and a nice hot shower.

The cyclists are always ringing their bells behind us so we move over and today WE had the opportunity to pass them on a steep path so we said ding ding ding! They laughed

Now for dinner.. We are starving.
